Are you looking for a fun way to exercise and meet new friends? Look no further than roller derby!
After two years being shut down due to the pandemic, Cornfed is starting back up, and actively recruiting new skaters and refs.
No experience is required! Even if you have never skated, as long as you are at least 18 years old, you can come and learn with us. The only skill required is determination.
We will teach you basic skating skills, as well as falls, stops, and derby gameplay.
New skaters can join us at our Monday night practices, from 7-9 p.m. at Gibson’s Skating Arena (2610 S Mock Ave, Muncie, IN). It is the perfect time to join, since even our veteran skaters need to brush up on long dormant skills.
All skaters pay $5 per practice, up to $25/month. You must supply your own mouthguard and mask (required at all practices).
We have loaner gear, while supplies last, for all remaining required gear:
- quad skates
- helmet
- knee pads
- elbow pads
- wrist guards
