Cornfed Bowling Fundraiser: Raffle Basket Preview

Cornfed is gearing up for our Eight, Nine, or Strike Bowling Tournament Fundraiser this Saturday, May 18th, 7-10 p.m. at Munsee Lanes. In addition to bowling, we’re having a raffle! Get a sneak peek of just four of the baskets that will be raffled off on Saturday. These four were all made by Cornfed skaters, and one was even inspired by one of our first-year skaters!
 

1. Grow Your Luck

 
Ever hear the expression, “Money doesn’t grow on trees?” Well, it just might when you try your chances with the to Grow Your Luck basket! This basket contains:
  • 10 Hoosier Lotto scratch-off tickets
  • a Million-Dollar chocolate bar
  • plenty of chocolate gold coins
  • the “basket” itself is a nice artificial potted plant that never needs watering!
 

2. Camping Delight

 
Summer time is finally here, and what says summer more than S’mores!? This basket contains:
  • 2 telescoping roasting forks
  • 1 utility lighter
  • 1 can of bug spray
  • 4 Hershey’s special dark chocolate bars
  • 5 Hershey’s cookies ‘n’ crème bars
  • 4 Hershey’s milk chocolate bars
  • 4 Reese’s cups 2-packs
  • 4 Hershey’s milk chocolate with almonds bars
  • 1 large bag of marshmallows
  • 1 box of honey graham crackers
  • plus the items are neatly tucked in a painted metal tub with woven wicker handles!

3. Oops! All Reece’s!

Inspired by our very own skater Reece’s Pieces, this snack basket can’t be beat! This basket contains:

  • 1 Reese’s mini cups Chips Ahoy!
  • 1 box Reese’s Puff granola bars, 1 box Reese’s Puff cereal
  • 1 resealable bag of Reese’s cluster bites
  • 1 party pack Reese’s assorted miniature cups
  • 1 resealable bag Reese’s pieces
  • 1 box Reese’s Snack Cakes
  • 1 jar Reese’s creamy peanut butter
  • 2 Reese’s cups 2-packs
  • 1 Reese’s peanut butter bar
  • 1 bag classic Reese’s cups
  • 1 bag Betty Crocker Reese’s pieces cookie mix
  • all that bursting out of tidy translucent-orange storage bin!

4. Lowery’s Home Made Candy Basket

Looking to indulge in some decadent delights? The beloved, local chocolatier’s at Lowery’s Home Made Candies have you covered with their fabulous donation! This basket contains:

  • 1/2 lb box assorted chocolates
  • Homemade caramels
  • Dark Secret Nibs
  • Solid dark chocolate bar
  • Milk chocolate Indiana
  • Lowery’s mug
  • 5 milk chocolate skate suckers
  • $20 Lowery’s gift certificate
 

It’s not too late to register your four person team for only $60, which includes shoe rental (yes, shoes, unfortunately bowling teams will not be in skates). Each team will play three games, so that breaks down to only $5 per person per game!

 

You can also become a lane sponsor for only $25 per lane! Shout out a business, your bowling team, or your favorite skater all while supporting a local non-profit organization.
