Your favorite roller derby team will be participating in the Muncie Mission’s Walk A Mile in My Shoes. This event helps the Muncie Mission take care of those in Muncie that are need of food and shelter. It also serves as a way for people to try to understand what it is like for a homeless person to be out in the freezing cold. Because let me just say, the average high this time of year for our neck of the woods is only about 35 degrees with average lows dipping into the teens and 20’s. Brrrrrrrrr that’s cold my friends!
So what can you do to help us? Help us help the homeless of course!! Your favorite Dames will be collecting donations to turn in to the mission on February 7th. No donation is too big or too small. Anything you can give would be appreciated. We can take cash or checks. Checks need to made out to the Muncie Mission. All donations made by check, and cash donations over $25 will be receipted.
