If you are on the fence about joining us, we wanted to share with you why some of us joined derby. So we asked our skaters, both veterans, and new skaters: what made you join, and what is your favorite part of derby?

What made you join roller derby?
I heard someone at work mention roller derby. I went to a practice to check it out, saw people shaped like me playing this sport, and went for it. 
What is your favorite part about derby?
Playing roller derby made me realize that I could be an athlete again and it made me love skating.
How long have you been with Cornfed?
Since around 2014.
