Dames & Paints Fundraising Event

12422172_10207085794761094_1129853330_oMuncie’s own Cornfed Derby Dames will be attending their first tournament ever this season. While this is an exciting opportunity, it’s also very expensive. Between the high cost of registration fees, gas money, hotel bills, and food, the Dames are left scrounging for the funds to make this dream a reality. Here’s your chance to help out while having fun!

On Wednesday, April 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the Dames will host a “Dames & Paints” workshop at The Fickle Peach in Downtown Muncie. This popular workshop presented by Cornerstone Center for the Arts will cost just $35 per person and will include one pint of craft beer or a glass of wine. The evening’s featured painting design, pictured above, was inspired by Cornfed’s own “Rosie” logo, but other roller derby designs will be available to paint as well.

The Dames will be on hand for meet and greets with fans or even to sign autographs! Exclusive Cornfed Derby Dames merchandise will also be available for purchase that evening. To sign up for the event email cornfeddd@gmail.com. Pre-registration is required, payments will be due the evening of the event in the form of cash, check, or card.

Don’t miss the Dames in action at their next home bout on Sunday, April 3. The All-Stars will take on Chicago Outfit’s Shade Brigade followed by the Muncie Missfits versus the Circle City Derby Girls Party Crashers. Tickets for the bout are available through any Cornfed Derby Dame, online at Brown Paper Tickets, or at the door the day of the event.
